SHIPPING POLICY

Drive On Diesel ships via UPS Ground. Next day air shipping can be arranged for a reasonable price of anywhere from $50.00 - $100.00 depending on the weight of the product and your location. We will do everything we can to make sure that you get the service you need. We understand how important it is to receive your order as quickly as possible.
In most cases Drive On Diesel only needs one address, as long as your product is shipping to the same location as your billing information. In order to eliminate credit card fraud, your billing information must match the credit card you provide.

The terms, conditions, and details of our warranty vary from product to product. Specific warranty details can be found below.

Drive On Diesel provides a replacement warranty on all of our parts. The duration and mileage limitations of the warranty vary by product and are specified on the product's detail page/item listing.

Please note that the warranty covers replacement of the part and the cost of shipping the replacement part to you only. It does not cover any shop, labor, towing, or any similar or related costs. This is not a "money back guarantee".

If you experience a problem with your part or it is not functioning properly, the correct warranty procedure is to call us at (510) 257-1777 (8:00 AM - 5:00 PM ET Monday through Friday). Be sure to have your order number and/or other relevant order information ready so we can easily locate your order and resolve your issue as quickly as possible. From that point, we will review with you any troubleshooting steps that may need to be taken and other areas or systems that can be checked to rule out external problems contributing to your part's issue. If a replacement is determined to be necessary, we will then arrange for your replacement part to ship out ASAP and issue any necessary return shipping labels and/or documents.

As is the case for the majority of the diesel products sold on Drive On Diesel, your part's warranty is active as soon as you install it. In some other cases, warranty activation is contingent upon you sending us your core (i.e., your old part). Drive On Diesel will provide you a return shipping label for parts that have a warranty with a core return condition. When we have received your core return, the part's warranty coverage begins. We reserve the right to void the product warranty if your core is not received within the allotted time, or if it isn't received at all. If the warranty for the diesel part you are purchasing has a core return requirement, it will be clearly noted on the product detail page/item listing.

What is a Core Charge?

A core charge (also called "core deposit") is similar to the deposit you might pay for a can or bottle of soda and is a standard requirement in the auto parts industry. For example, in many states, to promote recycling, you pay a deposit when you purchase a can of soda and receive your deposit back when you return the empty can. Many automotive parts have a core charge, or core price, that works in essentially the same way as a soda can deposit.

30 Day Core Charge Hold

You authorize Drive On Diesel, to hold your credit card for the specified core charge amount and that you agree to return your core with 30 days of receiving the purchased part. When we have received your core return, the hold is released and the core charge payment is canceled.

The fuel pump adapter is a critical component in the Cummins X12 engine, as it ensures a secure connection between the fuel pump and the rest of the fuel system. The OEM 4384717 Fuel Pump Adapter is specifically designed to provide stability and seamless fuel delivery in the Cummins X12 from 2017 to 2021. This blog will highlight the importance of the fuel pump adapter and its essential role in the fuel system.

Key Functions of the Cummins X12 Fuel Pump Adapter (OEM 4384717):

  • Secures Fuel Pump Connection

    • The fuel pump adapter provides a strong, stable connection, ensuring the fuel pump is securely attached to the fuel system.

  • Prevents Fuel Leaks

    • By maintaining a tight seal, the adapter reduces the risk of fuel leaks, which can lead to reduced efficiency and potential safety hazards.

  • Supports Fuel Pressure Stability

    • A secure connection through the adapter helps maintain consistent fuel pressure, which is essential for smooth engine operation and fuel efficiency.

  • Ensures Fuel Delivery Efficiency

    • With a reliable fuel pump adapter, fuel delivery remains uninterrupted, ensuring that the engine receives a steady supply of fuel for optimal performance.

  • Durability Under High Pressure

    • Designed for the Cummins X12, the OEM 4384717 adapter is built to withstand the high pressure and demands of a diesel fuel system, enhancing the reliability of the fuel system.

The Cummins X12 Fuel Pump Adapter (OEM 4384717) plays a crucial role in maintaining secure fuel connections, preventing leaks, and supporting stable fuel pressure. Regular inspection and timely replacement of the adapter are essential to keep your Cummins X12 engine running smoothly. At TamerX Diesel Parts, we offer high-quality OEM fuel pump adapters to ensure the reliability and efficiency of your engine’s fuel system.

A fuel pump adapter is an essential component for connecting and aligning a replacement fuel pump with your vehicle’s fuel system. Whether upgrading to a high-performance pump or replacing an older model, a fuel pump adapter ensures a secure and efficient fit. Knowing when you need a fuel pump adapter can save time, avoid installation issues, and ensure your fuel pump performs optimally. In this blog, we’ll explore the signs that indicate you may need a fuel pump adapter.

Signs You May Need a Fuel Pump Adapter:

  • Incompatibility with the Fuel System

    • If the replacement fuel pump doesn’t align or fit with the fuel system connections, you’ll likely need an adapter to bridge the difference. This ensures that all components are securely aligned and connected.

  • Switching to a Different Fuel Pump Model

    •  Upgrading to a performance fuel pump or switching to a different model from the original equipment manufacturer (OEM) may require an adapter to accommodate the new pump’s specifications, such as fitting sizes and connection types.

  • Fuel Leaks at Connection Points

    •  If you notice fuel leaking from the fuel pump connection points after installation, it may be due to an improper fit. A fuel pump adapter can help create a tighter seal and prevent fuel leaks, protecting your engine and fuel system.

  • Difficulty Securing the Pump

    •  If the fuel pump feels loose or doesn’t sit securely in place, an adapter can provide the necessary stability. This helps to avoid issues like pump movement, vibration, and premature wear.

  • Incorrect Fuel Pressure

    • A fuel pump that isn’t properly connected may struggle to deliver consistent fuel pressure. An adapter can help ensure that fuel flows correctly through the system, supporting optimal pressure for engine performance.

  • Upgrading to a Different Fuel Delivery System

    •  Switching to a more advanced or complex fuel delivery system, such as adding a secondary fuel pump, may require adapters to ensure compatibility and alignment between pumps and system components.

A fuel pump adapter is often necessary when upgrading or replacing a fuel pump that doesn’t match your vehicle’s current setup. Signs like connection misalignment, fuel leaks, difficulty securing the pump, and incorrect fuel pressure can indicate the need for an adapter. Using the right adapter ensures a secure fit, reliable fuel flow, and optimal engine performance. If you’re replacing your fuel pump or making performance upgrades, consult with a professional or ensure you have the correct adapter for a seamless installation. Proper fit and alignment are key to a well-functioning fuel system and a smooth driving experience.
